In this video I show you how I used SquidVision to find out that our top performing landing page (by trial signup percentage) was actually not producing the most revenue for our business.

What's up SquidVision family? Adam White here, founder of SquidVision. I wanted to share some interesting results of a headline or above the fold test we did on a landing page recently for JustReachOut.

So we send a lot of traffic through Google Ads to these landing pages. And I wanted to test the headline and the sub headline to see if we could get better conversions and make grow the SaaS business. So this was the original ten extra brand with these suite of PR tools, outreach tools to help you get your huge press mentions and authority backlinks.

That's the original. The second one was sorry, this is the actual snapshot running inside of SquidVision. But the secret weapon for PR specialists, that was the second one. Professional PR outreach software built with AI that will help you find and pitch journalists with ease.

And then finally, we have AI powered PR software to crush your outreach outreach tools to find and pitch relevant journalists faster than ever. Right? So this one, we're focusing on AI. This one we're focusing on how it's your secret weapon.

And this one is ten X in your brand. Right. So we ran the test. You can see that the original had a conversion rate of about two and a half percent, which is not bad. Secret Weapon had a conversion rate of over 4%, which is phenomenal.

And AI-powered had a conversion rate of about 3%, which is also good. Now, a conversion in this case was if they started a trial on just reach out. That's a conversion. So we're not tracking if they actually became customers, just if they started a trial.

And the reason why I say that is because when you look at what happened to these guys afterwards in SquidVision, obviously we tracked those same pages while the AB test is running so we could see what was actually happening with them, who turned into a conversion or an actual subscriber, and then how much revenue were they worth.

One of the cool things about SquidVision is with SaaS companies, if you create a heat map on a certain page, anybody that signs up while you run that heat map will keep tracking all of your revenue and attributing it back to that page.

So you can see over time how valuable that page is versus others. So here's the data. The original made six, $500 during that test. Well, from people that came and signed up during that test, the secret weapon one made 1700, and then the third one, the AI-powered, made 2800.

So you can see that even though this one was the best in terms of conversion rate, it was at 4% and this one was at 3%. When you look at the actual numbers, this one did better. One of the big things you want to look at is it had eleven trials, nine conversions, so an 82% trial to paid user conversion rate, which is phenomenal.

But anyways, and you can come and look at these where people were clicking and see exactly what was going on and where all the revenue was spent. But very interesting to see that it's not necessarily the best trial sign up rate.

It's what we really care about is revenue, right? And revenue shows that. Try it. Now, the third one, the AI, powered for whatever reason, that one brings a customer that's more likely to convert and stick around and be worth more money.

So, again, just another reason why, as you're doing AB testing or as you're building out landing pages, you always want to track the data. SquidVision, because you're going to get better data, be able to make better, more informed decisions on the thing that actually matters the most, which is revenue.
